I can’t recommend Arthur of Locks4less highly enough. Regular people have to trust tradesmen to do jobs they have no idea how to do themselves. There are plenty of honest, trustworthy tradesmen who demonstrate pure professionalism. Unfortunately, there are too many rip-off merchants who exploit what the customer doesn’t know. Arthur is someone others could look to as an example of how to be a true professional. I just wish he did electrical work, car mechanical work, and anything else I can’t do. The person who came to do the job explained what time he was going to arrive and was spot on. He explained what he would do and if he could he would repair it, or if once he'd looked at the issue he couldn't resolve it, he would make my property safe and order the necessary part and come back to complete the job. Very good and courteous and wore a mask.

Really happy I called these guys, turned up within 10 minutes of my call. Taught us that we would really be double locking our front door but luckily we didn't this time, our lock must of been faulty the part you turn from inside wasn't straight and that stopped the key from going all the way in. Luckily I had a new one on standby and they kindly installed and checked it for me.

Jake was very quick to arrive at the property (3 hours from first contact). I supplied pictures of the lock and detailed the issue in advance. He knew straight away the solutions and gave me some options with pricing. Although he brought a spare lock, he managed to take apart the original lock and fix the issue, even gave me after care advice. Very impressed. As its during the COVID19 pandemic he was using PPE, sanitized all equipment including the credit card machine and respected the social distancing. Very personable, with a great service. I was expecting job to cost around £250 as that is what I had been quoted by other locksmiths. This guy came within 3 hours and the time promised and repaired the lock rather than replacing mechanism as I had prepared for originally. UPVC back door lock was getting progressively harder to lock , until it would not lock anymore Called Arthur who asked a few relevant questions , and I sent photos and he quickly identified the lock and had one in stock . As it turned out the door itself was slipping out of line and, he soon had it lined up and it locks very smoothly now .Just the £60 call out charge . Very quick, efficient and honest. This was the second time Arthur came for the same problem in just over a year. He was very fair and explained the issue that these particular gear boxes have. As the gearbox was just out of warranty he managed to find a replacement without myself having to pay the expense of ordering a new one and he only charged me a minimal amount for his time. I can't recommend him highly enough.

After having struggled for 6 years to lock the end patio door, I thought it was time time to get a professional and I could not have picked a better one. Quick, prompt and efficient. Now all household members can lock the patio doors with ease.

This was an emergency call out on Sunday 24th May 2020 at 8pm. For the Port of Tilbury's new Tilbury2 terminal opening the next day the keys had been lost for one of the brand new buildings which was required the next day. From initial contact the job was complete in under two hours at a very reasonable price. My mother has dementia. Arthur worked outside of usual working hours to co-ordinate his visit with my mothers carers and cause her minimum distress.
